The Cellars
Where wines mature.
The cellars are in Montefollonico, a well-preserved medieval village situated between the Valdichiana and the Val d’Orcia. They are in the old historic centre and date back to the 13th century.
The original character of the surroundings, architectural style and decor have been maintained as far as possible to allow the visitor a glimpse of Tuscan cellars as they used to be.
A medieval alley, now part of the building, leads to a terrace on the ancient walls from which a wonderful view can be enjoyed over the whole Valdichiana, from the hills of Chianti to Cortona, from Pratomagno to lake Trasimeno, to the higher mountains of the Abruzzo region.
